Bring your family to the 66th annual Sun Fun Festival parade and events in Myrtle Beach this June! The Sun Fun Festival, which originally ran from 1951 to 2011 and returned in 2016, kicks off summer in Myrtle Beach with a variety of family-friendly events, including the Sun Fun Parade and live entertainment! The Sun Fun Parade will begin at 10 a.m. May 7 and will run from 8th Avenue North to 16th Avenue North. Live music includes: The Tonez | 7 p.m. May 6 at Plyler Park Too Much Sylvia | 7 p.m. May 7 at Plyler Park Swingin’ Medallions | 7 p.m. May 8 at Plyler Park The Sun Fun Festival and parade is one of the most anticipated events for Myrtle Beach and the Grand Strand. Look for to three days of fun, live music, games and plenty of activities for all ages. The 2022 Sun Fun Festival will take place at Plyler Park, May 6 through 8. Starting the Sun Fun Festival festivities off will be live music from The Tonez, Friday, May 6 at 7 p.m. at Plyler Park. Saturday, May 8, at 10 a.m. the Sun Fun Festival Parade will travel from 8th Avenue North to 16th Avenue North on Ocean Boulevard. Make sure you arrive early to get a good spot. Spend the rest of the day participating in games and activities for all ages. Saturday night, taking the Plyler Park stage at 7 p.m., will be Too Much Sylvia. On the last day of the festival, the Swingin’ Medallions will take to the Plyler Park stage at 7 p.m. |
