OK ill just keep it then, that's what I was thinking anyway. The Dinan in my opinion sounds better than the stock cp exhaust. Startup has a noticeable deeper growl and decel gives a deeper, louder series of gurgles and pops. outside of that not to much of a difference, but is louder with the x pipe. Looks much better than stock too.

I’ve had Dinan exhausts in the past, always thought they sounded really nice, though a little expensive they seem to hold good buyer value as an add on at sales time.

Re; sell or hold, No real hard fast rule here...but based on my previous experiences, been here and done that, unless you are leasing or plan to swap out of the car in less than the next 3 years, I don’t think it’s worth storing the CP exhaust unless you have an over abundance of storage area, that and it’s s bit of an eye sore too. As a “newer unit” you're more likely to sell it for more cash right now. In years to come, as it gets older production model status it will tend to become less attractive or sought after unless you are willing to give it way for cheap. Selling it now while the iron is hot is the most money you’ll get as well as not having to deal with pia storage concerns. It’s a rather large piece, not like engine parts that can bee tucked into a comer drawer. But as I said at the start, no hard fast rule, so YMMV as always. Good luck!

I just had the full system removed and replaced and was wondering how much I could get for it? I'm thinking somewhere between $200-$300. Also, would it be a good idea for me to just hold onto them just incase something happens to my aftermarket exhaust? All input it very much appreciated.

You could probably get $200 for the system. How do you like the American Thunder exhaust system? That's the system I am planning on putting on my RT 6 spd. Does it sound good? Do you have a video?
Thanks! :bigthumb:

I'm going to be posting a video very soon. At first it just sounded like a glorified stock exhaust but the more I drive on it the deeper it is getting. I am very happy with it thus far plus you can't beat the price.:woot:

You could sell it and make a few $$$. I decided to give my SRT exhaust away to help someone else out.

the stock exhaust only has some value to the V6 crowd. i see them go from free to $100. $200 to $300 without tips seems more that most are willing to pay.

by the way, i am currently looking for a stock exhaust for my SE.

I paid $225 for a RT exhuast for my SE. That inlcuded tips. I wouldn't have paid much more than that but I was happy with the $225. I also had to drive five hours round trip to pick up.
Then had to pay to have installed. There was welding involved and oh yea, had to buy the stock RT valance for the rear.
So all together I spent around $500 for this mod.
It looks great though. My SE looks like a RT and sounds like one too.

Just sold my R/T 6 speed exhaust for $50. About 1000 miles on it. It also took about 3 weeks at that price..... I almost cut it up and scrapped it....

i have a $103 invested so far. the two rubber isolator cost almost as much as the rear valance. i still have to get the two heat shields from the dealer. that's another $50. then i have to find someone willing to sell me their stock exhaust.

I saw a pair of chrome RT tips sell on Ebay for around $100 by themselves. At one time you couldn't buy these parts by themselves but maybe you can now. If I had an exhaust removed I would at least save and sell the chrome tips.

I'd be willing to sell my stock exhaust for $120 but shipping cost would be a @#$!&. So id assume pickup is the only method. I live in northern jersey :bigthumb:
