I had bariatric surgery years ago and I failed at drinking protein shakes. The thick, chalky texture and flavor would make me gag instantly. That happened with any brand and any flavor. So it has to be well hidden. This unflavored one did the trick. I wish I had found it early on. I just had to get past knowing and looking for the taste as I was drinking it. Lol there was no thick or chalky taste.. no gagging…it went great. I may try the vanilla but I don’t want to waste my time. Already gagging at the thought of flavored protein. The unflavored is the best for me. I can mix it and hide it the way I want. This one is 140 calories - with 25 G proteins per scoop.

I still need to try different quantities of the powder to find my favorite use in my recipes. My first attempt was great! I simply mixed it with water - 1 scoop with 16 oz. of water - then added a workout recovery powder to flavor it along with the added nutrients. It mixed really well - no clumps.
Today, I took one scoop and added it to the eggs that I was using for an omelet. This wasn't spectacular. I'll try half of a scoop next time. It didn't turn out bad, just not what I was hoping for. The "unflavored" took over the omelet and the seasoning and Swiss cheese that I also added to the omelet were just not enough.

I like this product, even though it doesn't have enough oomph to my taste. I wish it had more of a coffee taste. Still, all in all, it's worth the price.

Run of the mill powder... Too much cholesterol for most users to like for quality and flavor... Will finish over time but not purchase again... You get what you pay for was for sure true in this case... Biggest plus is economical price... You can tell poor quality by content ratio of scoop size to get just 25gms of protein... Better be prepared to do some serious mixing / blending to get this drink down the chute... Be warned no comparison to better quality powders in $25-$35 range of course...

I have used several Muscle Milk powders with satisfaction. For some reason this unflavored whey blend easily clumps. Requires extended and vigorous shaking to make palatable. I will make myself use it all but will not reorder this particular blend

If you bake with this, the baked goods tend to become hard as a rock overnight when normally they would stay soft. I've even added extra moisture to the mix. So I'd say this only works for baked goods if its going to be consumed the same day. I've done cookies, cupcakes and brownies with this added and it ruined them all.

This is just ok. Dissolves fine, tastes ok. Two problems: (1) Inexplicably has 2g net carbs per serving. (2) Serving is 140 cal, 1/2 cup for 25g protein (other brands are more like 100 cal., 1/3 cup for 25g protein. ) I wish I had looked into this more closely before buying.
