Science fiction action film, Jurassic World Dominion, is finally here! The highly-anticipated Universal Pictures movie hit theaters on June 10.

This latest production is the conclusion to the Jurassic World trilogy. It is a sequel to Jurassic World in 2015 and Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom which was released in 2018. But the whole franchise began back in 1993 with Jurassic Park. This set of movies was another trilogy which included The Lost World: Jurassic Park and Jurassic Park III.

Actors Chris Pratt and Bryce Dallas Howard, as well as Laura Dern, Jeff Goldblum, and Sam Neill, go on a new adventure for one last time. Directed by Colin Trevorrow, Dominion takes place four years after Isla Nublar has been destroyed. Dinosaurs now live and hunt alongside humans all over the world. The fragile balance will determine whether humans will remain the “apex predators” on a planet they now share with the fearsome creatures.

Is Jurassic World Dominion going to stream on HBO Max?

Jurassic World Dominion is not going to stream on HBO Max. Universal Pictures movies used to be released on the streamer. But now the production company has a new deal with Peacock, instead. Its movies will be added to Peacock Premium, including Dominion.

Usually, films have been added to the streamer 45 days following their theatrical release. Since Dominion hit cinemas June 10, that would put us at July 25, 2022. So if you’re able to wait, it’s not a long time between the theatrical release and when it will be streaming online.

The Jurassic Park franchise is one of the highest-grossing film franchises of all time, with over $2 billion in total domestic earnings and approximately $5 billion worldwide. That box office success is indicative of the dedicated fanbase the franchise has garnered since the first installment was released in 1993. Originally based on the acclaimed book series by Michael Crichton, "Jurassic Park" explores an alternate reality where humans and dinosaurs exist together after scientists create dinosaurs from prehistoric DNA. Throughout the franchise, a group of paleontologists and, then, an animal expert (Chris Pratt), must protect the human race when the dinosaurs break out of their facility and threaten life as we know it.

The newest installment of the franchise, "Jurassic World Dominion," hit theaters on June 10, and while it's probably not the last Jurassic Park film we'll ever see (read: definitely not), director Colin Trevorrow has implied it's probably the last of the trilogy starring Pratt. "To me, ['Dominion'] is a culmination of one story that's been told," Trevorrow told Entertainment Weekly. "What was important for me was, when you watch 'Dominion,' you really feel like you are learning how much of a story that first set of movies was and how everything that happened in those movies actually informs what ultimately is able to happen in this."
