Show 5.0 out of 5 stars A medium quality filter This is a good filter.Pros:large surface area of the filter media.Silicone anti drain valveCons:Stamped spring pressure relief valveLow quality build of filter elementNotes..MUCH better than oem ac Delco filter. All the weight of the filter is because of the filter head.. this is a trick mobile 1 uses to make filters feel like better qualityThis very filter was used for 10, 000 mile oil changeRecommendation: buy a Napa gold filter.. the element is slightly smaller, but the element build is 10 times better quality.. also, I recommend royal purple/amsoil filters (same filter, different paint) Reviews with images

I use it on my truck and my Jeep. Reviewed in the United States πΊπΈ on August 25, 2014 An obvious choice for your oil buying needs in Mobil 1 full synthetic. Oil is a highly debated purchase among car enthusiasts. People will talk of lesser known brands like Ames or Royal purple, or guide you towards a less expensive product then the Mobil 1. However, in all the debate it is generally accepted that Mobil
1 is a good choice. Opinions vary and people will talk of the best product or the less expensive one, but few people ever deny Mobil 1 is good. In my opinion its great. I've used it in several vehicles which I have taken over 300,000 Miles. Reviewed in the United States πΊπΈ on August 2, 2017 In the clouded premium filter market you cannot ask for more, I was a bosch distance plus fan for a long time (and they are still great) but as Mobil 1 filters have come down in price they are my new favorite. I bought this on here and then when I went to get oil at WM I see they now carry them for 9.97 which is a great bargain (vs. 11.99 here or 14.99 at main stream auto chains). The value is more apparent when it is only a couple dollars more than an ac delco filter at $7.97. When with modern cars you are spending up to 40 or 50 on synthetic oil alone I see no reason to go with a subpar filter. Just grabbing one of these tells you that it is not a fram or acdelco even if you have not taken the time to research it. Reviewed in the United States πΊπΈ on September 1, 2015 Bought this for my 2015 Chevrolet Tahoe LTZ. Mobil 1 filters are some of the best money can buy as they feature a cellulose/synthetic media mix which happens to be very efficient not only catching very small particles, but also flows very well. There is plenty of third party results pertaining to the Mobil 1 filter on sites like bobistheoilguy. FWIW Mobil 1 filters are made by Champ labs. People that cry about where filters are made make me laugh. News flash, just because it's made in the USA doesn't make it quality or superior. It's a world market, so try to be fair in your review of a product. I can tell you that many of the components that make up the motor oil many Americans run IS NOT sourced from the the U.S., so get over yourself. I happen to be a proud American, however I'm not ignorant to the world market and all it has to offer. Reviewed in the United States πΊπΈ on October 30, 2014 I switched to the Mobil 1 oil filters after using K&N oil filters for years. The K&N product is now made
offshore and the build quality seems to be slipping, hence my switch to Mobil 1. I have used Mobil 1 Synthetic Oil for almost 30 years with nary a lubrication problem. To me, spending a little more on the filter is good insurance against the potential for problems with a cheaper "toilet paper in a can" oil filter. Reviewed in the United States πΊπΈ on December 11, 2017 I buy the best filters I can find for my vehicles. I paid 50,000 and 43,000 for my last two vehicles and I will not put a junk filter like Fram on them! I use synthetic oil and either OEM filters or Mobil One with the anti flow back valves to insure my engines last. I have ran one vehicle 200,000 miles and have one with 178,000 miles now and using these filters and synthetic oil I have never even had an engine use oil even with high mileage, and never had an engine repair! I worked in the auto industry for 30 years, so know a little about engines. I have seen the inside of several filters on the market, and they are NOT all the same!
