I want to clarify this for everyone before they have to go through the hassle of reordering the correct part.
I have a 1997 Jeep Grand Cherokee and am installing a trailer hitch. I hopped online and Amazon said this will fit my vehicle so I bought it without too much research.
I go to install it and realize I have the wrong kit.

THIS KIT IS FOR GRAND CHEROKEES THAT CAME WITH THE FACTORY HARNESS. THIS IS A REPLACEMENT PART. IF YOUR JEEP NEVER HAD A HITCH INSTALLED, YOU NEED "TOW READY 118349", OR "CURT 55349".

So this 1 star isn't because this is a bad product, I just want everyone to see this and make sure they get what they need.

In order to run it properly you must have additional power plug installed in your car to power the harness. The product instruction is very vague describing parts that are not including.
After getting it to a pro car electric shop the item fail, some of the light didn't went.

It's my 2nd time in 30 days getting Curt products hiccup and very slow to respond or help.

Absolute garbage. Didnt even work out of the box. Instructions say to connect to connectors that dont exist. Ended up making my own adapter with a few diodes.
