Tom and Kelly are very nice. However, Kahn, the finance manager, is extremely rude. Trevor is rude, too, but not nearly as much as Kahn. I was having a pleasant experience up until Kahn came out and chewed my head off. When I inquired about the internet price of the vehicle, he told me it was considered already and the price I was seeing was reflecting taxes (even though right below it, there was clearly something reflecting tax/fees/etc and it was completely separate from the retail price of the car) and thats why the price I was looking at didnt match the internet price. I was looking at the paper we were all pouring over and it was obvious it wasnt correct. When my boyfriend asked Tom about it right after, Tom looked at it for two seconds and said, "Oh! Ill fix that." and bam, $2,000 off right there. Then I signed papers, shook hands with everyone, and drove off with the car. The next day Trevor calls me to tell me I need to come in and work on the financial paperwork. When I asked if the price went up, he said he couldnt discuss it on the phone. When I said Im being inconvenienced, I thought everything was finalized just yesterday, and now I need to inconvenience a family member and have them drive out 45 minutes to get to the dealership with me (just in case I wound up returning the car I JUST got), Trevor told me that that was a "personal issue" and I have to bring the car in regardless and rework the financial documents with them. I needed to know what was going on, so I then spoke to Kahn. He said he "wasnt a magician" and that he couldnt do anything because my dad and I (my dad cosigned for me) had "less than stellar credit". He said my rate would go up from 15.99% to 25%. I asked why this didnt come up when I bought the car, and he said its because the "banks were closed when you guys came in". We came in around 7:00PM, but I had been speaking with Kelly, the internet sales manager, via text message. At noon she told me that with my dad cosigning, the interest rate went down from 25% to about 18%. What bank is closed at noon on a Monday? Honestly. After really trying to break through this mans lies to me (if you remember, he is the same man who BSd my "is this the internet price?" answer) he says he doesnt care if I give the car back or take it, its "really up to you", he then says, "Im going to end this conversation now, because you think youre right, I think Im right, and were just going around in circles." I was poking holes through his lies and he couldnt take it. Extremely rude. If youre a first time buyer (I just graduated college and got hired at a great company in my field) who doesnt have much credit, Kahn and Trevor will rip into you... ESPECIALLY if youre a woman! Look what he said and did to me, a customer! I see a lot of "Excellent" reviews, but the "Poor to Fair" all state, somewhere in the long paragraphs, that there was a man there who was BEYOND rude. I dont doubt that it was Kahn.

Would SERIOUSLY NOT recommend anyone to Jim Marsh Kia! Wonder how these people sleep at night knowing they purposely financially raped single mom who works part-time. They knowingly inflated my income so my application would be approved the insane amount they charge for USED cars! I stated I worked part-time up to 32 hrs/week; they wrote down 39; Khan asked me if I "ever" worked overtime - I said once for about 2hrs - he wrote down 10hrs! Moved here last year from Hawaii, had 15yr old Ford, and needed reliable car d/t extreme temperatures. On 2/12 after much pressure; rushed by finance rep Trevor to sign contract (I asked to look up KBB consumer reports) Trevor & sales person stood over me insisting I was getting a "deal". I signed contract for used 2009 Xterra for $21,999, On 2/15 I called to ascertain why cost of vehicle on contract was inflated (27,960) was told it was warranty/aftermarket costs I never agreed to. I spoke w/GM Allan Yarborough who told me to bring in contract on Tues, received urgent email Monday to call sales team leader Mr T. He stated I should come in Thursday so "everyone" would be there to review contract. On Thursday, I called to assure contract meeting still scheduled, was told by Krista, assistant to GM Allen Yarborough that none of sales team was even scheduled to work Thurs - seriously? So I would have drove out there - more than 30 miles for nothing! She told me to come on Friday 2/22, a different sales team leader (Kahn O) assisted me stating that he would "fix contract". He stated the extra costs must have been a "miscommunication". He asked me to come back Saturday morning so he could "fix the contract". Saturday morning he stated that Xterra contract was paid by bank already, that I would HAVE to "trade in" Xterra to fix contract, also saying that much of the cost for after market warranty that I never agreed to buying was "non-refundable". I was very upset and he assured me he would "work numbers", they showed me a very nice used Optima for 23,995, met w/Vinnie in finance, signed new (different) contract. Next day noted cost of Optima wrong @ 33995! I called to ask how I would now owe 43793 for used car! Call from Khan saying they had to add 10K neg equity of Xterra! How did the car I bought from them (and I put 2K down!) a week earlier have 10K negative equity? They are ruthless and fraudulent! I have spent the last few days and multiple calls to GM, finance and sales team, still no return call from anyone. Buyers BEWARE... this dealership is the epitome and poster board for "NEVER TRUST A CAR SALESMAN!"

I have been taking my car for its repairs, services, and maintenance for at least 6 years. Jim Marsh Kia has been the ONLY place I have taken my car for anything and everything my car needed. My car is very unique and very hard to work on, but I have trusted the quality and services of the employees at Jim Marsh Kia. Who have provided excellent services including the mechanics like Steve who has about twenty years (if not more) of experience with Mitsubishi motors and the awesome services that Todd has provided is what has kept me returning. I have spent at least $9,000.00 (repairs, services, and maintenance) at Jim Marsh Kia. That being said, I recently took in my car for another BIG job (costing me thousands) and three days later my car lights up indicating there are issues with it. I took it back and it happens to be the alternator which has also been replaced at Jim Marsh Kia. I understand that there is a 1 year warranty, but the employees know that I DONT drive my car unless it is to turn it on and drive it around the block and to go get its services that it requires. I dont believe I have driven the car more than 1000 miles since it got repaired with the alternator a year and 9 months ago. The "weird" part of all this, is that the lights went off after they did a HUGE repair to my car. How do I know that somehow (accidentally) they must have trigger or broke something in my car that caused the alternator to go bad. They wanted to charge me about another $600.00 to repair. I spoke to Jeff Wilhelm the manager running the place and I must say I have never spoken to someone who DOES NOT CARE about service. I told him that I have been coming for years and the amount of money I have spent at Jim Marsh Kia and he did NOT even bother to look into my profile like a good manager would do. He just sat there and looked at me and said there is nothing he can do. I myself work for customer service job and know how to handle situations where customers are not happy, but it seems to me that Jeff Wilhelm needs to be trained correctly. I just want to add that everyone else who is working at Jim Marsh Kia has been courteous, respectful, and hard workers. Im sad that one man such as Jeff Wilhelm can ruin the legacy that Jim Marsh has worked so hard for.
