How to prepare for a careerIs psychology a good undergraduate degree?A degree in psychology opens up many opportunities to have a positive effect on someone's life. For example, as a practitioner in the field, you may help people overcome the effects of trauma, deal with a mental illness, face a mental health crisis or achieve personal goals.
What else can you do with a degree in psychology?Psychology majors can be successful in a variety of careers outside the field of psychology. These majors can work in human resources, marketing, education, business, and healthcare. Working as a psychologist, counselor, or therapist will require an advanced degree.
