This school will definitely land you a career with it's prestigious backing, if you can even graduate from it. Personally, I feel like the University of Michigan does offer it's students a lot of resources to be successful, be it free tuition, scholarships, and counselors, and free healthcare, but with many college campuses, I feel like it is a challenge to get around, especially in the north campus coupled with the grueling winters. Bus routes are usually spread from 30 minute intervals and there is very limited parking for undergraduate students. I'd recommend bringing a bike or some ulterior mode of transportation as you will be walking a lot at this university. also, if you are in the college of engineering, be prepared to work very hard! The prerequisites alone will try and weed you out, causing a lot of students to take them elsewhere. Other than the tough curriculum and walking requirement, the school is a great university with a lot of great resources for students!

Great people, great campus, and great academics. Going to Michigan has provided me with endless opportunities to further my professional skills. There is always something to do and a new opportunity to seize. The professors really want to help you and make sure you have the best experience possible. They push you and challenge you, but all in your best interest. The sense of community is quite possibly my favorite part. Going to Michigan feels like you are part of a family. Everyone cares about one another and shows kindness each and every day. Going into Michigan, I was nervous about the intense academics, but this sense of community has made my fears go away. Knowing I have people around me who want to help is a very comforting feeling. I would highly recommend Michigan for anyone who is looking to have fun, join and community, and challenge themselves in a way that will prepare them to be successful in their professional future. Go blue!

The University of Michigan - Ann Arbor offers many amazing things for college students. First, the campus is naturally beautiful with many events and organizations taking place the first few weeks within central campus and even more on the diag. This campus is not only beautiful but also offers many spots to sit with your friends and study. Whether that be swinging in a hammock under some of the trees or sitting over by Ingalls Mall. Furthermore, the professors care for their students and find time to listen to advice and questions often asked by students. This allows for students to have a voice in some of the things they learn, how the class is conducted and allows for them to better understand the material. The University also has a very diverse and amazing social life in which there is something for everyone. Student Government, feeding squirrels, and even intermural sports, you can even create your own club if there isn't one that fits you!
