Does AHCCCS cover gym membership?AHCCCS CARE Account fund purchases are limited to non-covered services. At this time, approved services include: dental, vision care, nutritional counseling, recognized weight loss programs, chiropractic care, gym membership and sunscreen.
Is AHCCCS Medicare or Medicaid?AHCCCS is Arizona's State Medicaid Program. AHCCCS Members who also have Medicare are called Dual Eligible Members. Being enrolled in the same health plan for Medicare and Medicaid is called “alignment.”
