JK 1-Ton Aluminum Tie Rod and Drag Link (Factory Location/Under Knuckle) Part Number: RPM-1002 In Stock 3-7 Biz Day Processing product tabs
JK / JKU 1-TON HEAVY DUTY ALUMINUM TIE ROD AND DRAG LINK FACTORY LOCATION KITThe factory JK tie rod is made from a hollow thin-wall tube. The PROBLEM is that most aftermarket units are still made of steel which once bent will stay bent. Our tie rod and drag link are made with 1.5" SOLID 7075 aircraft aluminum. 7075 aluminum carries a memory to it. When it is bent, it pops back into place! Never replace your tie rod again!!! Features:
PLEASE NOTE:
Is the inner tie rod the same as the drag link?Drag Links (DLs) connect the steering gear and the pitman arm at one vehicle wheel. Tie Rods (TRs) connect the steering knuckles at the left and at the right wheel to transfer the steering forces.
What does Jeep Wrangler drag link do?The drag link in your steering system connects your pitman arm on your steering box to the steering knuckle or tie rod. As you move your steering wheel, the pitman arm moves, and thus allows you to steer your Jeep.
