Is Lido Beach a nice beach?We never thought any beach could compare to Siesta but we were wrong! Lido is by far the best beach in the area. The sand and water are just as gorgeous as Siesta with probably half the crowds. It's truly a hidden gem that no one knows about.
Can you walk to the beach from St. Armands Circle?There is a path that leads to the beach at the west end of St. Armands (past the Holiday Inn).. no need to walk to the Public parking area. 8.
Is the water clear at Lido Beach?And the gulf waters off Lido Key are crystal clear multi-hued aquamarine blue. Simply beautiful. All of Lido Key's Beaches are great for walking, sunbathing, lying in the sun trying to get that gorgeous Florida tan of golden brown, or just staring out on the gorgeous, sun lit and sparkling Gulf of Mexico.
