I love this kitchen island. The drawers are not exactly right, but I am probably the only one that will notice. The bottom drawer wouldn't close very easy either, but we did some adjusting and it works ok now. It is a little tight for 2 people to sit and eat a dinner together. This was my first purchase for my business at Wayfair. I was so excited to get this product. It’s exactly what I was looking for. I spent hours making sure the measurements were perfect for my storage containers only one of them actually fit. The directions were so confusing! My hands aren’t strong enough so I literally sat for 5 hours trying to figure out how to do this on a Friday night wasting time getting it together by myself. My hands just weren’t strong enough and I had to use pliers with the wrench. The reason why I didn’t pay for assembly was because it was 99 and the product was only 200. Tell me how that makes any sense Why should I spend half the price of the product to have it put together It’s just isn’t not feasible for a small business who’s rebuilding because of Covid. Besides, I have a lot more things I want to buy. It looks ok overall but it was a big headache and I may have to redo it again to get two small wood pieces I missed somewhere midway through the assembly. I’m sad and hope Wayfair may help me.. Gail. This island is lovely, sturdy, and went together like a dream. All pieces and predrilled holes were lined up well and the instructions were clear. Parts were individually sectioned, clearly labeled, and attached to a piece of cardboard (and there are even extra pieces included!). I put this together by myself on a Sunday afternoon, and only needed assistance with putting the heavy granite top on. Note to future purchasers - make sure you put the doors in correctly, with the metal pieces at the top to connect with the magnets inside the cabinets, because if you put them in wrong, the spring-loaded pins that hold the doors in place make it impossible to remove the doors (or I haven't figured out how yet, in any case). Will just remove the metal plates and move them to the correct place, but thought I'd warn future purchasers. It is a great size, moves around easily, and has lots of room for my extra kitchenware! Arrived today and was packaged so nicely I and my mother had a time unpacking it. Layers of Styrofoam and each piece individually wrapped. The granite top came separately boxed in a wooden crate and I really had a time un-crating it. Used a cat claw and claw hammer, very carefully prying the wooden crate apart so as not to bump the granite top which by the way was in pristine condition even though the outside of the box had a hole in it. The pieces were all in very fine condition too. Assembly is easy as long as you follow the directions. I am 56 and mom is 91 and between the two of us, and a long break, we got it done in less than 2 hours. Unpacking took the longest, and have a vacuum handy for the bits of Styrofoam. The granite top is extremely heavy attributing to the really nice workmanship in this cart. Looks great when finished. This is a great piece BUT it is not the white it shows in the picture. It is definitely CREME. Well packaged when it came but the granite was broken in 1/2. The product was shipped on time. However, i have concern about the packaging. The product received with a broken panel and got chips at multiple corners from out of box. The screw holes are oversized so the wooden plugs won't be able to be inserted. It looks like a nice kitchen cart so i decided to keep it but had to add glue to hold the plugs in place.
