Much like the other ecchi and harem anime that was released on the public platform, this one also faced a strong backlash due to its questionable content.

While Animoon delayed the series to the verge of cancellation, other services refused to air the series on the prime television network. However, it has not been renewed by Studio TNK as of yet.

Since there is no confirmation on the return of the second season, the production also remains under the umbrella of uncertainty. If the case of Redo Of Healer Season 2 is to be compared with that of World’s End Harem, there might be a short cap through which the second season might get a release window. In the case of the former, the makers pulled back the project after the release of the first two episodes. With a hiatus of around three months, the harem was bound to return to the screens with necessary alterations.

If Studio Gokumi can take a break to retouch certain inappropriate aspects, then surely TNK can also take a risk shorter than this. Plot Details!

The first season of Redo Of Healer spent most of the time introducing the world and the characters set in that world. The story follows a healing magician named Keyaru who is abused by all his customers as they come. After finding the job of selling his body exhaustive and ethically wrong, he learns that a healing magician was the highest class of magicians that existed in the world. Thus, he decided to use these powers in his favor. Thus, he decided to take revenge on everyone who had abused him in the past.

In the last episode of the first season, titled “The Healer Starts a New Journey!” The King of the nation released the order that he wanted to stop the wrath of Keyarga and get him arrested. Meanwhile, Keyarga has also decided that he was finding some empathy for the girls that came into his life. However, he was still decided to take revenge upon Bullet for using his body in the past.

Now, if the second season ever makes it to the screens, it will follow the same traces as the first season. The story will continue with Keyarga/Keyaru continuing his mission of chasing down all his abusers. However, it is most likely that he will be faced by Bullet this time. Bullet now has two reasons to chase the perpetrator. First is, of course, his personal lust. The second one is the orders that he has got from the King to bring back Keyaru.

Light Novel Compared To Anime

Bypassing the original novel series by the makers, the anime draws a story from the 2017 light novel of the series. In totality, the source material has serialized nine volumes so far. Out of these nine books, the first season of twelve episodes only used three light novels. Even as the series was airing, the pacing was a high debate. It was argued that the pacing of the anime was slower than that of the original story. However, in many parts, the anime skipped major plotlines from the original source material.

Anyhow, the finale episode and the plot of the third volume ended on a similar note. Thus, Redo Of Healer Season 2 still has six more volumes to adapt a story from. In fact, if TNK Studios continue to follow the same pacing as the pilot season, then this material might branch out into two more seasons.
