To start, youll need a compatible SIM card to use the camera. Support depends on the country youre in (Reolinks website list carriers in each country). You can use a prepaid T-Mobile data card in the U.S., or a card from virtual operators FreedomPop or Mint.

Help! Just purchased Reolink Go camera, T mobile SIM card & 64 Gb SD card. SIM card is set up and working on a phone but when I put it in the camera it says “connection failed” I have gotten it to connect twice but once I go back into the app after awhile it will not connect again. from reolinkcam

Directions on How to Set Up Reolink Camera
PLEASE USE THE SIM CARD TAPED TO THE BOX RATHER THAN THE ONE IN THE BOX

1. Download the Vodafone Smart App from the Play Store (Android) or App Store (Apple).

2. Open the App and Register your Vodafone Number to create an account.

3. Enter Pin Sent to Device

4. Select Add New Device

5. Select Smart Sim

6. Scan the QR code of the Sim card provided.

7. Confirm Product

8. Connect your Device Page, select V-Camera

9. Select Reolink

10. Select you price plan, Next and Accept.

11. Download the Reolink App from the Play Store (Android) or App Store (Apple).

12. Open the App and Click the blue + button in the top right-hand corner to add the camera.

13. Scan the QR code of the Camera and your Device is ready to use.

If you wish to use this camera with another Network Work (Eir/3) you need to get a smart sim from that network or link it with a PAYG Vodafone Sim which can be purchased in any local Vodafone Store.

Step 1. Rotate the camera to find the SIM card slot inside the camera.

Step 2. Insert the SIM card like the direction of the SIM card in the picture below.

Note: Please be sure to install the SIM card with the notch facing up.
