Rod Gilbert’s work on behalf of the New York Rangers’ Garden of Dreams Foundation continues 10 months after the death of a man named “Mr. Ranger”.

The Foundation, a non-profit organization that brings life-changing opportunities to youth in need, has announced the launch of the first ever NFT digital commemorative patch on Fanply, honoring Gilbert, Rangers’ all-time scoring leader, who had died. Cancer on August 19th.

Net proceeds from the collectibles would benefit Garden of Dreams, a foundation that Gilbert supported for years, devoting much energy to his efforts.

Limited-edition collectible prizes and experiences will be available at msg.com/RodNFT, along with an online sale and auction running July 1 at 7 p.m. ET, which would have been Gilbert’s 81st birthday.
