Fitbit versa 3 vs charge 5 reddit

First of all, you will have to pay for fitbit premium to get all of your analytics, and so by that i mean they have some custom workout plans and some more deep insights into like your sleep and your spo2 and stuff like that, and the second drawback Is while fitbit does make things pretty digestible every now, and then it gives you information that you just don't know what to do with like it tells you like your skin temperature when you're sleeping - and i don't know what does that mean? How do i change that? Why is that? Is that a good thing or a bad thing if it's higher or lower they don't tell you a lot of stuff like that, and it kind of leaves you to do your own research so guys. Overall, though, i'm very impressed with this watch, i think, if you are between the fitbit sense and the fitbit versa, 3, it really comes down to if you're worried about your health, when you are not working out if you're, if you really want the ecg and the Eda scan and the stress tracking, then maybe the fitbit sense, but at that point it really wouldn't even be a question between the two of them, because you already know you really want the ecg, but for almost anybody else out there you're really getting the same smartwatch. Here the same design, the same waterproofing, the same interface, the same six day, battery life, it's going to be pretty much the same as the fitbit sense, but just a hundred dollars cheaper. So i definitely recommend this watch like i said much more competitive and i really think that for most people, the fitbit versa 3 is going to be the fitbit to buy so comment down below

I have a Charge 5, and it's my first Fitbit.

I've not had any issues with it so far except that the watch based GPS is possibly a little off in certain conditions. I took it on a mud run a few weeks ago and it thought I ran about 1k further than the course.

Now that may be for a number of factors, being the watch itself, the conditions it went through (lots of mud, some underground areas, swimming through a lake etc.) or something else I'm not aware of.

But that's been my only real gripe with it so far, after about six months.

I have a Versa 2. It hasn't been entirely terrible, I do like the Fitbit app and motivation, but it hasn't been great either. The first couple of months I had the watch, it added tons of stress because it would lose sync with my phone and I'd have to do a restart watch, restart app, restart phone dance 3-5 times DAILY before it would sync again. Eventually, I guess it got enough good updates for it to sync properly.

But it's never been able to connect to wifi like it was supposed to, so each firmware update is another hit and miss dance over Bluetooth, though eventually, all have gone OK. With no wifi, adding music to the watch was impossible from my computer, so could not use that feature, one that I had wanted.

Heart rate tracking has been a joke the whole time I've had it. It might suddenly show me with my heart going close to maximum in the red zone! Or fail to register my heart rate in the green zone. Which it did yet again today. Walked vigorously, arms punching out or above my head for 20 minutes, the watch only showed heart rate in the green zone for the last 2 minutes of the workout!

Steps have always seemed accurate though. And the Fitbit platform has been motivational for me.

The device has lasted 2.5 years, but the battery is showing clear signs of impending doom now.

Like others, I'm tired of data that is always behind a pay wall, and since it's Prime Day, and there's some good deals on Garmin, including the Venu 2s I wanted, I've pulled the trigger.

Perhaps it'll be a mistake, but I won't know until I try Garmin.

Is Charge 5 worth the money?

The JBL Charge 5 doesn't necessarily have enough upgrades to be worth buying if you already have the JBL Charge 4 or even the Charge 3. If you don't already have an earlier model, however, the Charge 5 is a great choice. Its audio quality is really good for a Bluetooth speaker and I'm impressed with its volume output.

What are the cons of a Fitbit Charge 5?
