I had heard so much about this movie, that I had to see for myself & no let down. GREAT SERIES!! I watched the ENTIRE 1st Series in ONE DAY, lol, and wanted more. The previews for the 2nd are mouth watering. I have always been a fan of Zendaya and believe that she did an amazing job. She is JUST BREATHLESS! The blonde actress, from what I had heard, was found Off her Instagram account. The writers were looking for someone new, who had never been seen and once again, WOW; she is a diamond in the rough. They Dewalt with the issues that are presently happening all around us and greatful that Hollywood is paying attention. The LGBTQ community is a highly often overlooked, and it's about time that the light is shining in that area. The 2nd season is supposed to be about sex trafficking, which is another subject that's not talked about & often overlooked. A HUGE THUMBS UP TO SHOWTIME! I hope many more shows are to follow!

I finished Season 1 and it rolled around in my head for 2 days. I then tried to explain one part of an episode to a friend of mine and she was so amazed she wanted movie nights with me. We are in the process, just finished episode 4. We both are in our mid 60's. We led fairly sheltered lives in high school. I became street smart and book smart growing up. I had children and have 10 grandchildren with the oldest 13. Depression runs in our family as well as alcohol & drug addiction. This movie was extremely real and raw. It does describe how life is for some teens today. Parents watching this better get an education and keep your eyes open. Especially with data on phones and social media. That is a slippery slope for these kids. Take their phone, review what's on it. They can't have privacy in today's world! Anyway back to the movie. It has a disturbing plot line and I'm unsure how they would be able to continue with a Season 2.

I've seen a lot of reviews that are either 5 stars or angry parents that give it 1 star. I think this show has a lot of depth and honesty, and the editing is pretty magical. But it's true that this show is not suited for anyone under 18. So, I think parents are justified in wanting to limit this show for their teenagers, but for younger adults (I am 22) who've grown up experiencing the kind of increasingly acceptable fluidity in gender and sexuality portrayed in this show, it's definitely worth your time. I think euphoria is breaking ground in this area and it's good to see.
