So, Bees. I am having the weirdest conflict of emotions right now. On Tuesday, at 9 DPO, I took a FRER test and got a faint positive. I held my urine and took a second test at lunch time and got another faint positive. Yesterday, at 10 DPO, I took another test and got ANOTHER faint line (a hair darker) and also a Dollar Tree test and got the ghost of a second line. Last night, I took a Walmart brand 88 cent test and there was a clear line, albeit faint. Show
This morning, 11 DPO, I took five tests: FRER, Dollar Tree, Walmart, Clearblue Digital, and First Response Digital. I got another faint positive on the FRER (albeit, this time, I think quite a bit darker than the previous days in person), a faint line on the Dollar Tree, and a line on the Walmart brand. Both digitals were negative. So, herein lies my conflict: We have been trying for nearly FOUR YEARS to get pregnant. I have never, EVER seen lines this “dark” before. However, I am getting a little nervous, because I feel like the line on the FRER should be getting much darker, but it is only getting a hair lighter each day. I don’t feel like I can call this a win yet. I know that I am still VERY early, but I wonder if the lines shouldn’t be darker by now. And I think I need to see the words “pregnant” on a digital test, but who knows when that will happen. Ultimately, this feels very anti-climactic. Like, for the first time in nearly four years, we have lines (faint lines, but still lines) on not only one test, but OTHER tests. But it doesn’t feel real. I feel disengaged from it. We have blood work scheduled for Monday because even when I called the doctor, she thought I was CRAZY and that I couldn’t “possibly be pregnant or seeing a second line”, so I think that has kind of been in the back of my head this entire time. Bees, when did you accept you were pregnant? Was it your first faint positive? Was it with a very dark positive? Was it blood work? Was it a digital test? Also, if I sound crazy, I apologize. Four years, first time this has happened, what even is life. DH and I feel like we can’t tell anyone because we ourselves aren’t sure if I even am (for reference: We would tell our parents, my sister, and one close friend right away, but would hold off on a mass announcement for a looooong time). I guess, I just can’t believe that I “am” pregnant right now. Sorry if this post is a mess, I am just feeling very conflicted. I have attached a picture of my tests this morning. So I took this test this morning right when I woke up and see just a faint second line. My boyfriend and I lost our daughter at 18 weeks gestation on May 21 to a chromosomal disorder and so this would be crazy to be pregnant again already, but we are hoping its positive! I want to take another but i don't know if I should wait until my first pee in the morning, that's what I hear is most accurate? You guys think it looks positive? few of these girls are mean. smdh Report as Inappropriate C CLBN @mamabear12714, The poor girl probably read on here a lot of false positives/indents & evaps, which can make someone feel very unsure of whether it's positive or not. Maybe she is new here and isn't to sure because the test line is lighter than the control line. Report as Inappropriate R RD81 @CLBN, I agree with this. Im on my third pregnancy and i was so confused. I was convinced that the test line should be as bright as the control line! I did 9 tests in total. Lol! Report as Inappropriate hayley373 @mamabear12714, it was totally a joke, not meant to be mean. sorry if that's how it came across. I really thought the OP was being sarcastic, so I apologise if that wasn't the case. and congrats OP! ❤️

What does a faint line on a dollar pregnancy test look like?Lines with No Colors
Some faint lines on pregnancy tests are the same color as the control line: pink or blue. Other times, the lines show up clear or colorless. As we mentioned previously, this can happen when the urine on the test dries and starts to evaporate.
What color is Dollar Tree pregnancy test evaporation? An evaporation line will be a grayish white mark that appears after ten minutes. The best way to know if you are pregnant is to test again tomorrow.
How do you know if a faint line is positive? In early pregnancy, there may be very little hCG in the urine, and the positive line may be faint. But even a faint positive line has color, and this distinguishes it from an evaporation line, which is colorless. Any coloration in a positive line indicates pregnancy.
Is a faint line a weak positive? If the window on the testing stick shows two lines, the tester is positive for COVID-19. The opaqueness of the lines also can indicate more, Vail said. If the line is fainter, the patient is likely to be less sick, less infectious, or might be nearing the end of infection, Vail said.
