Chances of getting pregnant from precum and taking plan b

from that situation? Pretty much completely unlikely.

There are mixed results from studies showing that pre-cum usually doesn't contain any semen, but it sometimes does. There is usually semen in precum if you cum but don't urinate and then engage in sex and have precum. In most/many cases there is no semen in precum.

That being said, let's say you have some semen in there. Plan B has 89% effectiveness, which is pretty decent. Also, if we assume all of your precum is semen (which it definitely won't be) it is still an extremely small amount of semen that will be present and that alone is MOST LIKELY not enough to cause a pregnancy.

If I was with a girl and these events perspired I would be a little suspicious if she was seeing someone else (if she is pregnant). It's possible you got her pregnant, but I'm a betting man and I would bet against that.

It's only been two weeks. Periods can be late. Condoms are great because they eliminate stress from waiting, that and well, kids

Pregnant from precum after plan b!?!

Asked for Female, 16 Years

My boyfriend of i of almost a year are new to sex and we just had sex Last Thursday. We used protection but the condom broke! (Trojan ultra thin condoms) when the condom broke he had not ejaculated all he had done was pre ejaculate. he had peed many times after his last ejaculation taking care of the semen that could be left in the urethra. the condom broke right at the tip of his penis and immediately he pulled out and we went to get option 2 (plan b) this has been the third time we have taken plan b (twice last year and once this year). Should the emergency contraceptive still be effective since we have taken it 3 times? I'm supposed to start my period April 20th (today). I'm having breast tenderness but this is normal for me before my period. Should we be worried about a possible pregnancy?

Is it likely to get pregnant from pre-cum on the pill if you have taken it correctly?

The pill is up to 99.7% effective at preventing pregnancy, when it’s taken correctly.

Pre-ejaculate (pre-cum) is the liquid that oozes out of a man’s penis before ejaculation, when semen spurts out. Unlike semen, pre-ejaculate does not contain sperm. But some men’s bodies leak sperm into their pre-ejaculate. And pre-cum can pick up sperm remaining in the urethra from a previous ejaculation. If either of these happen, the small amount of sperm in the pre-ejaculate might cause pregnancy, even though the chances are small. But if you’re using the pill correctly, it’s highly unlikely that you can get pregnant this way.

Is it possible to get pregnant off precum, without penetration, while on the pill? He never came and never actually entered but there was nothing between him and my vagina. I am very diligent about taking my pill every day (its a combination pill) around the same time each day, info on my pill also says that its possible to just not get a period while taking it, could that just be it?

If you’re using the birth control pill correctly, it’s 99 percent effective at preventing pregnancy. The pill works by preventing ovulation, which means that there’s no egg for sperm to fertilize if it gets inside your vagina.

So to answer your question, if you’re on the pill, you’re protected from pregnancy, even if semen gets in your vagina. (And just so you know, the chance of getting pregnant from pre-cum is really, really small — pre-cum often doesn’t even contain sperm.)

If your period is late and you’re worried you might be pregnant, you can always take a pregnancy test to put your mind at ease, and if you’re still concerned about a missed period, you can always talk to a health care provider.
