from Credit Karma members Most helpful positive reviewGreat Cash BackCredit Karma Member I had a score around 600, and was approved for a $2000 credit limit. I also got the $200 cash back bonus after spending $500. Most helpful negative reviewAbsolutely Insulted by Credit OfferingsCredit Karma Member DO NOT GET THIS CARD. I have been a Capital One card user for 3 years and I only received one credit line increase by $200 - my limit is now at $500. I have a six figure salary and find it insulting that I do not have a higher limit with my excellent credit score. The customer support service - and don’t get me started on getting in contact with a human, it took me 25 minutes to actually speak with someone - told me that the only way to get an increase would be to make an inquiry that would affect my score. I am completely confused as to why I have to make a request for a higher credit line, but I didn’t have to take any action to be approved for an upgraded card. I have credit lines that are thousands of dollars, and I am disappointed that the card I have had the longest has denied me of a higher line of credit. I was advised not to get this card but I tried it out anyway. It’s obvious to say that I would never recommend this card to anyone I know. I have a good credit score, but was denied. Waste of time. Credit Karma Member Automatic rejection (discover automatically approved me right after) with 785 score, 2 hard inquires in last few years, 13500 credit line, <3% utilization, 0 derogatory marks, no late payments, always fully paid, no housing payments, and a decent salary. Waste of an hard inquiry. Credit Karma Member Have very good credit and cards with $25K limit but was approved for a $500 credit limit. Seriously?Applied because I was getting mails regularly. Not worth. Credit Karma Member Apply for a different card like Upgrade, Mission or Ollo! This card is a joke! Credit Karma Member I Would not recommend it to anyone Credit Karma Member Unfortunately, Capital One outsources their customer service. With this comes an extreme lack of any kind of customer service. They only know how to answer you accordling to what is on their screen. They have no connection to Capital One and how to help you with a dispute, questions, concerns, etc. They have good points earning on the card, but with the lack of customer service, and know in the USA-it's not worth it. I've had them for 6 years now, and have had 2 major issues
with no resolve, and nobody to help. I have now switched to Discover Card as they are solely in the USA and have a promise they made to their customers that they will now outsource. I've had several people tell me of their exact same experience as mine with Capital One and each one of them had specifically recommended Discover Card with the exact same positivity of the customer service with Discover. Don't waste your time with Capital One. They are not the company they used to be. Credit Karma Member Great card and great online services. Credit Karma Member I have this card so far i haven't had any problem the only problem is you don't get that much cash back and trust me i have more than 1000$ to use . I have spend at least close to 1000$ and i only received 18$ cash back. I like the card cause you can use it anymore out of the states and county. I do recommend the card but spend it wisely especially if your Apr is 21% or more it can take you a while to pay it off. Credit Karma Member Applied and make well above the income divided by 12 months being higher than the $500 a month more than my mortage payment. But was still denied after it said my likelihood of being applied was high. Obviously not if I didn't get approved when I make well above the amount, they stated was the minimum income needed..... Credit Karma Member I've had this card for about a month now... I have no complaints. Even when I've had questions or concerns, customer service has helped me right away!!
