Apple's latest phones don't do reverse charging.

If only you could rest your AirPods case on the back of your iPhone to give it a little power boost. This feature, broadly known as reverse wireless charging, is available on Android phones such as Samsung's Galaxy S21 line and the Google Pixel 5, but not on the iPhone 13.

Reverse charging has been available in some Android smartphones for several years now, and there have long been rumors that Apple will add the feature to iPhones, dating back to at least the iPhone 11. The rumors re-emerged for the iPhone 12, 13, and 14 – but the feature still hasn't materialized.
