The app is available on select 2018 LG webOS 4.0 and later models. The Apple TV+ will launch on certain 2016 and 2017 models in 2021.

What if model is not compatible?

• I have an older model LG TV, can I still stream the Apple TV app?

  Absolutely. You can stream the application on certain compatible devices like Roku, Amazon Fire Stick, iPhone, and iPad. You can find a complete list of compatible devices at www.apple.com/apple-tv-app/devices.

• I cannot locate the Apple TV App on my television, can you tell me where it is located?

  There is a slight latency that could be experienced at times by the content being watched and information displayed on the TV. This is a known issue and is being investigated

  You can try to download it again.   Before you sell or give away your TV or uninstall the Apple TV app or Apple TV+ app, you should reset the Apple TV app and Apple TV+ app. Resetting the Apple TV app and Apple TV+ app signs you out of your account, removes your personal information, and restores the apps to their original settings.

  If you reset the Apple TV app and Apple TV+ app on a smart TV that's also signed in to the Apple Music app, then the Apple Music app will also be restored to its original settings.

  1. Open the Apple TV app or Apple TV+ app.
  2. Go to Settings.
  3. Choose Reset Apple TV app and Apple Music, or Reset Apple TV+ app. Then confirm your choice.
