To avail of this renewal service, applicants must first book an appointment to attend the public office in Mount Street, Dublin 2, Cork or London. This is a limited service and slots are allocated by appointment only on a first come, first served basis. Applicants who have applied using Passport Express are able to make renewal appointments with the Urgent Appointment Service. Applicants who have made online applications may also make renewal appointments with the Urgent Appointment Service. However, where an online application is advanced through the entitlement process, the Passport Service may not be able to facilitate an appointment, and will cancel the appointment and refund the fee.
