Bible in a year day 55

Hello and welcome to Move Forth With Grace!  The podcast where we will read the Bible in a year.  I believe that God has placed this on my heart and I am so excited to see where this takes us this year.  I have prayed for Him to show me how I can be of service to Him alone and I believe that this is one of the ways.  I want to first of all say that I am not an expert in Theology or Church History and I never will claim to be.  I am a 43 year old woman who has been reborn and want to be of service to Him in gratitude for calling me back home.

The version of the Bible that I will be reading from is The Founder's Bible and it is a New American Standard Version and includes historical documents from our founding fathers and how they were inspired by the word of God when they were forming our country.  You can find your copy here if you would like:

This episode is also brought to you by the Move Forth brand that encompasses freedom, health, and grace.  I was given the words when I enrolled to become a Health and Life Coach in 2017 and they hit my soul deeply and I had no idea why.  "Move Forth Into Your Being and Leave Your Doing Behind."  We are created in God's image perfectly and fearfully and wonderfully.  There is nothing that we need to do to earn that...He simply gives it to us.  I have tips and resources and merchandise available on my website for you here and you can also join the Move Forth with Grace Community:

Notes

The tribe of Levi serves and carries the Holy items of the tent of meeting.
Only the sons of Aaron are called to be priests, but the other families of the tribe of Levi are very important with their supporting tasks.

God makes us for a purpose and calls to us to specific tasks, we may not always know what those tasks are, but we know our lives matter.

Moses warns the people that they will want to turn away from God to idols, and make the same mistake as their ancestors.
He wants this to be the first thing that they remember so they can try to avoid it.

Our hearts are idol-making factories, therefore we need to root them out.

God’s word purifies us and reminds us of the truth that:
God is faithful, He knows our name, and He assigns tasks to us.

We matter, so God’s will must be the priority of our lives.

Will Bible in a year continue in 2022?

The newest New Year's Resolution with more staying power And note, the 2022 version of the podcast is a rerun: a repeat of the daily readings Father Mike Schmitz shared with the world in 2021.

What day is Bible in a year on?

Starting January 1st, new episodes will be released daily for the duration of 2021.

Is the Bible in a year the #1 podcast?

Schmitz — better known to listeners as Fr. Mike — reading Scripture and explaining its historical context and theological meaning. Now heading into its second year, the podcast is once again the most downloaded show in the U.S. on iTunes, and No. 7 on Spotify's podcast charts.

Is the Bible in a year good?

The podcast read through all of Genesis and Job in the first month and has begun to read through Exodus and Leviticus. The podcast also continues to read smaller passages from Psalms. The Bible in a Year podcast does an excellent job of providing the proper context and explains how the readings are relevant today.
