Which transmission fluid do you use?

I just picked up a 2002 Type-S! Unfortunately I don't have the service manual and the forums are awash with random preference. I know a 2nd gear grind can become a thing...I'd like to avoid that on the RSX.

In my manual, it just says "Only use Honda/Acura MTF Part # 08798-9031A" I know a lot of people run Amsoil Syncromesh in their RSX though too.

I personally use GM synchromesh, amsoil synchromesh will be just as good.

Amsoil all the way. It's a little pricey but you don't have to change it like you have to change your oil so I think it's worth it. I would say I have the smoothest transmissions out of anyone I know, partially because of the fluid.
