I am extremely disappointed in this product. First of all it was super heavy and I had hired help to take it up the stairs and assemble. Then these deep cracks became visible.Amazon says I should return this product back to them. That means I need to hire help to transport it down the stairs.With the hope that the manufacturer would replace the broken pieces,I called the number that was listed on my order and it turns out the number listed on my order is not the manufacture’s phone number.This has been a nightmare.

Ive built multiple pieces of furniture from Ikea so I already am experienced in building furniture but for someone else who isn’t very experienced I suggest you ask someone for help. The bed is NOT STURDY just saying, it makes SO MUCH NOISE TOO like I can’t even sit on the edge of the bed without a creek!!! It’s pretty from afar though for sure, but the boards broke and I had to go to HOME DEPOT bro and buy two pieces of wood to put under my mattress since they broke. Honestly there are better options save your money, I already want another bed. Ive had it built for four months only.

The drawers didn’t fit right and it’s not very sturdy

So first off I’m going to assume this, They are all the same there is no difference other than the color of the bed price wise. You can literally lightly sand these pieces and paint whatever you want. It’s not wood at all it’s pressed particle board. It’s pretty dense particle board. I’m personally going to buy some wood and beef mine up, but other than that I guess it’s not to bad I really wish the drawers were deeper like the whole size of the bottom of the bed there literally half the size, so your losing space.

So first off, I had pretty specific requirements I wanted in a bed. I wanted no headboard, footboard, or sideboard, and I wanted some storage. A mate's bed was perfect. i was also in need of a particular color of wood. Let me tell you that this did NOT meet that last requirement.

After finagling the box from the mailroom, into an elevator, down a whole block, into another building, up another elevator, and into my apartment... I opened the box to find it was the wrong color. The WRONG COLOR. It was wayyyyy too dark. I was looking for a warm red caramel walnut and this was a dark coffee bean walnut, not at all what was pictured. It was the most disgusting color I have ever seen. I could have dealt with it if the color were only slightly off tone from my other matching wood furniture but this... This was not just off color, it was puke brown. Based on color alone, I don't reccomend purchasing. I never even put the damn thing together. I put it back in the box and scheduled a UPS pickup return. I'll get the box out of my apartment, but the UPS guy will have to finagle the rest of the damn thing.

Oh FYI, the box came severely damaged but of the two pieces I pulled out, they seemed fine.

Based upon the packaging of the product alone, I do not reccomend buying it. For particle board, this item is wayyyy too heavy. The only person who should be buying this product is someone who lives in a house, owns a small forklift, and enjoys the putrescent shade of brown of this god awful particle board.

Purchased two of these platform beds for adults. Each adult is about 165lb. They were NOT easy to assemble, at least for me. It took me, female, nearly 2-hrs to complete both by myself. Save yourself the trouble and frustration and hire a handyman. Looking back, I would have paid a person $100 to have them assembled. However, they are awesome! Very sturdy and I have a nice 9 ½" mattress on each. I'm sure I'll have many yrs ahead with these beds. The storage is plentiful eliminating the need for more than one dresser in the room.

I bought two of these for my kids. The quality is extremely poor. I pulled the pieces from the box (which was totally intact and obviously not abused during travel) and found damaged pieces. Someone had placed damaged pieces inside the box and sent them anyway. The drawers (4, because I bought two beds) all had nicked corners, the support pieces that you put the mattress on were banged up along the edges, corners and one was cracked part of the way through towards the middle. The end pieces (headboard footboard sides) has laminate pieces that were already peeling off. Very disappointed.

Looks great but the quality and sturdiness is lacking. One of the largest pieces to support the mattress came out of the box cracked, and overall the pieces were not packed well. roughly, 30% of the particle wood boards were badly chipped.
Only because this was an emergency and I don’t want to go through the hassle of returning this item, I will keep it. But I’m crossing fingers it will last long enough to get my money’s worth even if that’s just a year.

Finally, the instructions were not very clear, had missing instructions and we had to deduce what they meant, prolonging what should have taken an hour or less to build by 30 min or so.

I should have gone with IKEA

Simple style and solid enough, but drawers were much more shallow than expected and don’t go all the way back. Cheap laminate already dinged when assembling.
