Alpharetta, GA United States We really liked renting from Royal Destinations. We loved the way they had their customer service portal set up and were very helpful. We had a lot of trouble booking chairs in advance but it ended up not being a problem because we could rent them on the beach. The location is great - very close to seaside and the beach access is very easy to get to. We loved all of the living spaces that the home offered and that it could accomodate our large group of 9 people. The only thing we didn't like was that one bedroom upstairs can only be accessed through another bedroom. Other than that - we thought the house was great. The kids were able to play in the community pool and we could see them from our back deck which was awesome. We will definitely rent from Royal Destinations again. Loved sitting on the back porch in the evenings. Kitchen was very well stocked and plenty of space to spread out in the dining area and den. There is very little privacy in the upstairs bedrooms, thin walls, bunkroom does not have drawers or closet or bathroom. You have to go thru the bunkroom or another bedroom to reach the queen bedroom, so that was weird but worked for our extended family. House could have been cleaner (lots of visible dirt and build up on baseboards but toilets and showers clean) and all bath mats need to be replaced. Overall, a very nice experience for the money! Sunny Day was one of our favorites! The house is beautifully decorated and fully stocked with everything we needed for a week—including two bikes that we used every day. We really enjoyed the easy access to the community pool directly behind the home. Sunny Day is a short walk to the beach, just 3 houses from the 30A intersection and walking distance to so many restaurants and treats in the heart of Seagrove. The rental generously includes a beach set-up with an umbrella and two chairs. However, this service is offered at the beach access directly next to one of two high-rise condos in Seagrove so the beach was packed at that access point. We chose to forego the nice set up and use the Tom Thumb beach access (it's the same distance to either access point) where there were MUCH FEWER people and just use our own set of chairs and umbrella.The management company was also very thorough and responsive. They stopped by to repair a step (that we hadn't even noticed) shortly after we arrived.We had a wonderful stay at Sunny Day and we would absolutely stay there again! States The house was very nice and clean and walk to the beach was convenient. The outdoor grill did not work very well so we had to take all our meat off and cook inside. The house only had one thermostat so it was always cold upstairs and hot down. There was only one bathroom to three bedrooms upstairs so that was a bit of a hassle but overall the house was beautiful and definitely had everything you need and more. It was well-equipped and had everything we needed. It would have been nice to know in advance that in order to access the fourth upstairs bedroom, you have to walk through the bunk room or other bedroom and bathroom. Also, the house was not particularly clean when we got there. Two of the showers were clogged, and we had to call maintenance to unclog them, and there was hair in all of the bathrooms and the bath mats did not appear very clean. The house was amazing and provided plenty of space for everyone. The way the large back porch looks right into the pool is one of the bonuses of this property. The walk to the beach was simple and easy and having the donut shop, seafood market, Tom Thumb and a couple restaurants within walking distance was fantastic. We would absolutely stay here again. We only had one issue with the property and it was the coffee pot but when we called they brought a new one right away. My only suggestion is the house could use a couple more kitchen towels. from Knoxville, TN United States Overall it was a good experience. Any problems we had were dealt with quickly by the management team. We rented a beach wagon not knowing there was one provided as well as extra beach chairs. These items may have been left by previous renters as it would have been cheaper to buy a wagon than rent one. The glass shower door was hard to use and it would have been nice to have one more bathroom. 4 adults and 3 children had to share one bathroom upstairs. The ice machine had a hard time keeping up with us! Maybe some extra ice trays would be helpful. Plenty of towels are provided so we never had to wash any. A couple more dish towels would be nice. It was a very short walk to the beach and it was nice to have the beach loungers and umbrella provided. We loved all the balconies! The bikes were a little large for us (they were 26 inches) we didn't get to use them but it's nice they were also provided. There are some great restaurants close by as well as a donut shop and fish market. We visited the beach store ( that was only a block away) almost daily. The house was fairly clean, just a few dust bunnies under furniture and the microwave was dingy inside. The home is nicely decorated but not small child proofed! The downstairs common area is very open and comfortable. I think all in our party would agree they had a great time. Well decorated and appointed, very clean, well managed. Loved the quality Weber gas grill - nice touch! Only odd thing was the upstairs queen bedroom had to be accessed through either the bunk room or the smaller king bedroom. Just an odd layout. Also, the upper deck had three mis-matched chairs and the balcony off the master bedroom had no seating. We had looked forward to spending time on these decks and would recommend better furnishings for them. Otherwise, a great stay! Talladega, AL United States This was our first time to stay off the beach. We have always enjoyed beachfront property, where we could see, hear and smell the ocean. However, we needed a much larger place for our growing family, so we decided on a house. We hardly missed the sights and sounds of the beach. We love the house, with all its amenities. The pool was right out the back door and the beach is just s short walk away. We had a 3 and 5 year old that had no problems walking to the beach. We loved having restaurants and the Tom Thumb within walking distance, as well as the Donut Hut and a coffee shop across the street. We also had a crab boil one night. There was a seafood market right across the street and you even provided the pot. Everyone enjoyed having the bikes and he beach chairs, which were included. The girls loved the bunk beds, and slept late every morning, because it was pitch black in that inner added bonus! However, the older girls complained about the brightness of the other bedrooms.. Blackout shades would be nice on the doors since the sun rises on that side of the house. But that is the only complaint I heard from anyone. We all agreed that we would love to make this our yearly vacation house. The beach was not overly crowded. We took our own chairs to add to the rental chairs. There is a great sandbar located in front of the boardwalk. The little girls loved swimming in the shallower water and we took our chairs out on the sandbar Every afternoon as the tide went out and the sandbar was completely bare.
