The price of a stamp depends on how quickly you want your letter to arrive and its size and weight.

Non-barcoded stamps will continue to be sold until stocks are exhausted and can be used until 31 January 2023. Customers are encouraged to use their non-barcoded stamps before this date. Where is this is not possible, non-barcoded stamps can be exchanged for the new barcoded version through Royal Mail’s ‘Swap Out’ scheme.
Please note, non-barcoded stamps cannot be exchanged in Post Office branches.
Customers need to fill in a ‘Swap Out’ Application forms which are available from:
• www.royalmail.com/barcodedstamps where a form can be printed or requested
• Royal Mail’s Customer Experience team – customers can call 03457 740740 and request a form be posted to them
