Passive entry

My passive entry isn’t working anymore. Any ideas what I can do? I change the batteries in the key fob and under settings on radio passive entry is check marked to on. So I don’t know what else it could be. Seems like fuses are all good JoinedJul 20, 2021Messages

The sensor for the Passive Entry is integrated in both the driver and passenger front door handles. There is a power wire running to those two handles that could have an issue. Have you tried both the driver side and passenger side doors? If that doesn't work on either side then it's probably not the door handle sensor and might be the key fob itself. I know you replaced
the battery in your primary key FOB. Have you tried the other key FOB with a new battery? You already checked the fuses, but have you taken the doors off? If so just make sure the door wire harness is fully connected. If it is more complex I'd probably just take it to the dealer and let them chase that little electrical gremlin around for a while.

seated well at the harnesses in the footwell.

One thing I have found with most proximity sensors for entering the vehicle is if the fob is in my pocket with my cell phone the sensors do not work. I need to have the fob and cell phone in opposite pockets.

U One thing I have found with most proximity sensors for entering the vehicle is if the fob is in my pocket with my cell phone the sensors do not work. I need to have the fob and cell phone in opposite pockets.
i noticed this as well. Always forget my phone is with the
key.

My passenger side will unlock when I’m standing on the
driver side.
I always tell a passenger to try it before I reach fir the key.
Also, when I’m at the tailgate. I’ll tell my lady friend to just grab the handle and it unlocks.
Try it. See what you experience.
Most of the key fobs are proximity to the vehicle and not always just to a door unless the settings are as such.
But I am curious if there’s a difference.
