Everyone quoted me $500 to replace one panel. Seems like it's because they need to replace or remove the entire window. With this, I just needed to remove the glass that's hanging over any edges, clean the old glass surface, adhesive and place the glass. 3 things to keep in mind when doing it. 1 - make sure you clean the old glass and remove and pieces hanging out of the edge. 2 - Use good adhesive. I used 3m which is around $29. The kind in the video gave me a hard time because it was stiff and needed heating. 3 - DON'T put too much adhesive or it will come out of the edges and is not easy to remove.

The installers couldn't make it the day of the appointment but came extra early the next morning and did a beautiful job on the install, looks like a new truck!

hi there, new to the site. Just purchased a 2019 crew max 4x4 5.7. Oldest son just put a bungie strap through the rear window. It’s the full slide down window, not sure if there is another type... but looking to see how much this is going to cost. Safe Life can’t fix it and the dealers are closed. I’ll call in the morning, but trying to prepare myself for what it’s going to cost. Thanks.

Looks like it is $370 for the OEM glass plus labor. Ima guess bumpin $600.
A member here just replaced his and did it himself....hopefully he will see this thread and chime in. If I recall he ordered the glass from Toyota and said it wasn’t hard at all to replace...

I just did this. I ordered the glass from "Pro Auto Glass" on ebay. It was $160. Very easy straight forward install.
Roll rear window down about 3/4, remove back seat, take access panel off (about 14 10mm bolts), window is held in with 4 10mm bolts. Disconnect rear defrost mechanism, clean out old glass.
Insert new glass in at an angle (30-45 degrees) gently lower into place. Have helper (oldest son would be good
) put the four bolts to attach to track...reassemble.Total time for me was under an hour.

Thanks for all the great replies! I’ll look into ordering the glass tomorrow for a DIY. We will see how it goes.
Don't forget to locate your 10mm wrenches/sockets before you're holding a big piece of glass... Good luck! Let us know how it goes.

Well got glass from a local place, $250 and installed ourself. Not hard at all, getting all the glass picked up with the shop-vac took the most time. Thanks to everyone for the advice. Oh, dealer quoted me at $359 for the install and $540 for the window....
Hi again all, wondering if someone knows where to find the torque values for the rear seat bolts, labeled with an “11” I think. And also the 4 bolts for bolting the window to the rails. I don’t really want to go back in there, but yesterday when rolling up the window it sounded like it was grinding on something, maybe just loose glass. Can’t recreate it, but figured if it happens again I’ll go back in and make sure one didn’t come loose. Also want to check the seat bolts for safety... I guess. Safety 3rd.

Dealers are smoking crack these days, mine wanted a grand for brakes, Under $200 and did them myself, smooth as glass. Get it! HAHAHA just remember glass doent like to flex, it goes BOOM sooner than you might think it will.
