Rated 5 out of 5 by from Wood prep is key! I bought one gallon of this last year and never got around to using it until now. I pressure washed one side of my fence and not the other. I also experimented with application methods. A hand pump pressure sprayer (Home Depot Brand 1 gallon) applied it too thick and obviously used too much product. A brush took ages. Pressure washing and using a paint sprayer have me in love with this product! Unfortunately I had to order more online because everywhere local to me is sold out.

This product allows for the natural look of the wood to show through with the professional look of a finished fence. We receive compliments often from people passing by and noting the unique look of our fence within our neighbour hood.

Rated 1 out of 5 by Smokey-PSF3 from Deceptive Colors - WATCH THE VIDEO FOR TRUE COLORS We painstakingly cleaned and sanded a weathered teak bench, and picked up TW's "Teak Transparent" timber oil to protect our masterpiece, and it RUINED IT! Nothing on the Teak Transparent can gives you any clue as to how dark the stain will be. Even the little color sample viewed on our computer monitor looks okay. We thought perhaps they put the wrong pigment in the can. NOPE! It was not until watching the Thompson's WaterSeal video where they showed actual wood samples that offers a clearer picture of what color you should expect.
