The deadline to register to vote in Utah is October 28, 2022. 11 days before the Election Day. The next election is scheduled for November 8, 2022.
Any eligible voter may register to vote or update their voter registration information by completing and submitting a voter registration form. There are multiple ways that you can register to vote in Utah. The options are listed below:
By Mail Deadline Must be received by the County Clerk’s Office before 5 pm, October 28, 2022.
County Clerk’s Office Deadline Must be received by the County Clerk’s Office before 5 pm, October 28, 2022.
Driver License Deadline (Driver License Division) Must be received from the Utah Driver License Division or online before 11:59 pm, October 28, 2022.
Online Deadline (vote.utah.gov) Must be received from the Utah Driver License Division or online before 11:59 pm, October 28, 2022.
Party Affiliation Deadline Last day for an existing registered voter to change their party affiliation is set for 2024.
*The last day for a new registrant to register in person or online and receive a by mail ballot October 28, 2022.
**Voters who are not registered, but are otherwise eligible to vote may vote provisionally in person on Election Day.
