About The Brand: Previously known as “Oil of Olay”, Olay is a drugstore skincare brand that is owned by Proctor and Gamble. About My Skin: I Love an Even Complexion
I love to wear foundation and CC creams along with tinted moisturizers. I am down to try anything as a dewy, hydrated, and even-toned complexion is something I strive to achieve every single day and am no stranger to the products that promise to deliver just that. Brands I reach for often for tinted moisturizers and foundations are Cle de Peau, Armani Beauty, and ILIA.

How To Apply: Fingers, Brush, or Sponge
You can apply this CC cream a few different ways, as the consistency is thick enough to hold up to fingers, a foundation brush, or a sponge, so it’s your choice. I found that out of all three application methods, a foundation brush was the easiest and allowed the product to blend well and look consistent on my face.
If you want to wear this CC cream alone, you can. It’s nice on its own, yet another way to apply it is like a primer to even out your skin tone before foundation. You can help correct redness and hyperpigmentation first by using this product and then following up with a separate foundation for fuller coverage.

The Results: Even-Toned and Hydrated Complexion
This isn’t a makeup product that is going to give you full-coverage wear, but it doesn’t promise that, either.
It helped to even out my complexion, provided some hydration and nourishment, and my skin did look nice and dewy.
While it’s a great option for warmer weather, you can wear something like this all year round. Just keep in mind that you will have to touch it up during the day as it’s sheer and won’t last as long as a full-coverage foundation would. I have fair skin, so I needed to blend the product well for the color to match, and did notice it slightly oxidizes through the day so I used bronzer and other products sparingly in conjunction with it.

The Value
For a drugstore CC cream, the price tag of $25 or under comes out costlier than some other budget-friendly items. If you’re looking for a multi-use product that will give nice results, why not give it a try?
