I booked my reservation through AAdvantage cars and hotel. Unfortunately, my flight was canceled. I contacted advantage and let them know immediately, they told me my reservation is non-refundable, but they will contact la Quinta and explain my situation. It took almost 3 weeks for the hotel to respond, and they just said no because of the policy. The policy said it's non-refundable. I get that, but it's not because of I just want to cancel it for no-reseason. It's the flight that got canceled. I also booked a car reservation, and they just refunded me even though they also have the same non-refundable policy, but they granted the refund because they understand my situation. I tried to call the hotel, but nobody even answered the phone. Stay away from businesses like these, just money hungry. I paid cash and mileage for nothing.

decent hotel and very kind staff. only two complaints were the breakfast options because it was full of only potatoes - no vegan or gluten free options, no pancakes or waffles or any types of bacon only fake uncooked looking sausage but the staff was VERY KIND

Customer service was poor. Asked for extra pillows/towels at check-in, didn't receive them. When asked for them at night, they said they didn't have any. Door to bathroom was very dirty, had handprints all over.

The shuttle from LAX to hotel was great. The lobby is not so good but our room was better than expected, although the bed was a bit spongy. For 1 night its totally adequate and the breakfast was really nice and the area to eat was big and spacious.

Starting with the most disgusting shuttle from LAX to the hotel, It took 45 minutes after we arrived for the shuttle to come, and i have on video how the driver ignored the next stop cause it was too full but then in the next ones he got a lot of people inside the bus when he shouldn’t have done it, the bus was so full and he kept saying that it was okay to people be standing up and having their bags on the floor, there was a woman with a broken foot, kids, and it was an awful ride, everyone was uncomfortable. Then they didn’t make our housekeeping in our last day(sep 18th) and we did call in the morning to request it, no clean towels. It wasn’t the best experience, breakfast is not good, I can think of ONE thing good about this hotel and it’s the room, when they do clean them,it’s nice and the bathrooms are nice too. I don’t remember anyone of front desk being nice, when we first booked David was nice and friendly and while being here I don’t know what changed but he wasn’t. The front desk lady with black skin (I don’t remember her name ) was the only one who I think is the best. The Hilton at LAX is a better experience, I stayed at the Holiday Inn LAX too and the only thing that La Quinta is better is the rooms.

Friendly staff checked in early. Clean properly, however uncomfortable pillows, thin blankets, and frosted glass bathroom door. Appreciated warm breakfast, but eggs tasted dehydrated..Okay for one night

27.50$ for one night parking. Double what it used to be. There is no notice on website/booking. You can easily stay at a nicer place for same money! Only learned of fee at check-in. It was nighttime and also too late to cancel.

Rude and not helpful front desk representative. Don't know how to get keys work. It's the Worst La Quinta I've ever stayed. Choose other hotels in the area. Parking is expensive and parking ticket alone doesn't work - very inconvenient system and staff was not trying to help you solve the problem. I feel unwelcomed and ignored.

The staff are generally helpful and the accommodation is clean. We were grateful for the free shuttle and breakfast. However, our stay was disrupted by the hotel having no record of our booking via booking.com and then being charged twice. This was not rectified whilst we were there. I was also charged twice for drinks at the bar. This was taken from out of my travel account. So we were not at all happy.

Hotel needs to have thorough review of their customer service. Staff from front desk to the kitchen staff and parking attendants need a huge attitude adjustment. Staff are not interested in being there and guests are a bother to them. Front desk staff are rude, instead of receiving a greeting such as "How can I help you?" guests are greeted with "Hey!" if you're lucky otherwise you get a look that reflects "why are you bothering me". Kitchen staff basically ignored me and then laughed at me when I got to the breakfast area 5 minutes past serving time. Yes, I could have gotten up earlier, but we drove from BC to get there and needed the sleep and after waiting for 10 minutes for the super slow elevator on the 10th floor, I was late. I didn't appreciate being laughed at and ignored. The kitchen staff just shrugged me away and rudely left. We never went back or tried to have breakfast during our stay again. Upon arrival we were advised we needed to ask ahead of time to have our room cleaned, we were staying four nights so at check in I specifically requested for the cleaning to be scheduled for the third day. The night before the cleaning I went to check and of course was told it wouldn't happen because it wasn't scheduled, so I asked to be scheduled and again received a shoulder shrug with a "not sure we can do it, it will depend on the cleaning staff and not much I can do". On the day of the supposed cleaning we returned in the evening to find, no cleaning and SOMEONE HAD COME INTO OUR ROOM AND LEFT THEIR VAPING DEVICE AND A KEY CARD on our bed. I took this to the front counter and was not given much reassurance other than "sometimes cleaning staff check the rooms". On our last day our room was finally "cleaned" they basically made the bed and changed the towels, no wiping of counters and no vacuuming and dirt/dust were exactly where we left them.
