  • Sign on to access business transfers.
  • To get started, select the accounts you would like to transfer money From and To.
  • To transfer money between accounts at Wells Fargo and accounts at another bank, select Add Non-Wells Fargo Accounts.

After you sign in, click on View/Edit or View/Delete for each transfer listed under the transfer and payment activity. Or if on the Wells Fargo Mobile® app, tap on each transfer listed under Scheduled Transfers & Payments, and click on Edit Transfer or Delete Transfer.

You can transfer money between your Wells Fargo checking and savings accounts and accounts you may have at other U.S. financial institutions. Simply sign on to Wells Fargo Business Online to access transfers, and click Add Non-Wells Fargo Accounts to get started.

After you sign in, choose the account you want to transfer money from, the account you want the money transferred to, the frequency of transfers, the date you would like the transfer to occur, and the amount that you would like to transfer. Then, click Continue and Submit.

With the Wells Fargo ExpressSend service, you can send money from your eligible Wells Fargo checking or savings accounts to your family or friends (beneficiaries) in Asia at the following Remittance Network Members:

  • China – Agricultural Bank of China†
  • India – ICICI Bank†, HDFC Bank†, Axis Bank†
  • Philippines – Bank of the Philippine Islands, BDO Unibank, Metrobank, Philippine National Bank, M. Lhuillier*, Cebuana Lhuillier*
  • Vietnam – Vietinbank, Vietcombank

Step 1 – Contact us. Talk to your Wells Fargo banker to learn about the options available and select the one that best fits your needs.

Step 2 – Provide your beneficiary's information. Tell us who should receive the money (beneficiary) and how you want your beneficiary to receive the money (cash pick-up or deposit to your beneficiary’s account).

Step 3 – Send your first transfer. We’ll establish the transfer details to ensure your money is sent quickly and safely. The first remittance you send under each service agreement must be initiated in person at a Wells Fargo branch. Customers with an existing checking or savings account may be able to initiate their first Remittance by calling the Wells Fargo Phone Bank, subject to caller authentication requirements and additional fraud prevention controls. Subsequent Remittances may be initiated at a Wells Fargo branch, by calling the Wells Fargo Phone Bank, or through Wells Fargo Online® at wellsfargo.com.

You must be the sole owner, a primary or secondary joint owner or have power of attorney on the funding account to use ExpressSend. If you are using a joint account to send Remittances, you should be aware that the Service Agreement is opened on an individual basis in your name only. If the other joint owners wish to send Remittances using the joint account, each joint owner must complete a Service Agreement.

Information required

When completing the ExpressSend Service Agreement, you must provide:

  • The name, address, and telephone number of your beneficiary, and the Remittance Network Member(s) to which your funds should be sent.
  • Your beneficiary’s full physical address, which must be located in the country to which your remittance is being sent. Post office box addresses are not allowed.
  • Your beneficiary’s telephone number, which must either be a number in the country to which your remittance is to be sent or a U.S. telephone number. You must also indicate whether the number is a mobile line or land line.

We will be unable to establish your Service Agreement if you do not provide this information. 

Customers who are minors are not allowed to enroll in the Wells Fargo ExpressSend service. Many countries have restrictions that limit the ability of a minor to be the Beneficiary of a remittance transaction. The Sender must ensure that their beneficiary is eligible to receive the funds sent to the designated Remittance Network Member.

Is there a fee to transfer money from Wells Fargo to another bank?

Wells Fargo Fee No fees are charged for Direct Pay payments made to Wells Fargo personal bank accounts. Direct Pay payments to non-Wells Fargo personal bank accounts cost $0.50 per payment.

Can you Zelle from Wells Fargo to another bank?

Once enrolled, provide that email address or U.S. mobile number to the person sending you money. They can use it to send you money, whether through Wells Fargo or another Zelle® participating financial institution.

How long does it take to transfer money from Wells Fargo to another bank?

The recipient will be able to access the funds you send on the same business day. If you use ACH transfers, it can take an extra day or two for the funds to appear on the receiver's checking account number. As for international wire transfers, it can take anywhere from one to five business days.
