How do I know if someone has changed their phone number? FOR USA?
I call the phone number but it does not ring at all and leads to voicemail. I am sending a message but my message is said to have been forwarded to this person. I called with a different phone and the same thing happened.
Could someone with knowledge of the USA help? thanks

If your message is sent to voicemail the number is still active.
If the number had been disconnected you would have received an immediate message that the phone number was no longer active, or that the subscriber was not receiving calls at this time. Those responses could indicate the phone number is canceled, or suspended for non-payment
@lizdance40 But when I send a message to him, my message is delivered to him. but when I call, it sends me to voicemail. is there a reason for this? when the phone is switched off, I cannot receive a delivery report for the message I sent. but this time I can get a delivery report but when I call I am only directed to voicemail.

I can't believe I have to spell this out - he isn't replying. Either his phone is on 'do not disturb' , he's asleep, he lost his phone, or he doesn't want to respond.

Without sounding totally creepy, my ex changed her number after we had a massive freak out at each other. I didn't realise and kept texting, none of them are not going through. I'm confused. Are they still being charged for? We're they ever received?
