Every even year (ie: 2022, 2024, 2026, etc.), NARACES holds a regional conference. Below is information on our upcoming conference.
Theme: Building Bridges with a Purpose: From the Classroom to the Field. From Awareness to Action.
Accepted Proposals / Registration: Please be mindful that all accepted presenters will expected to register for the conference when registration opens in July 2022.
Dates: The conference dates are November 8-13, 2022.
Location: Wyndham Hotel in Pittsburgh, PA. (Hotel rates for conference are discounted to $149/night if reserved before 9/29)

An error with the cost of registration has now been fixed, and the correct registration price will be reflected going forward. If you were overcharged, your name and the amount is on record, and you will be reimbursed as soon as possible.

1:15pm – 4:15pm – Effective strategies to support junior faculty women of color in academic. A workshop by Dr. Sade Smith
5pm – Networking social session with all panelists and attendees
Wednesday, November 9th
9am – 3:45pm – Emerging Leaders Workshop. Coordinated by NARACES Emerging Leaders Committee
9am – 9:50am – Leveraging your career and credentials as a counselor educator and supervisor: Working as a licensed professional counselor, supervisor, and educator. An education session presented by Dr. Sherritta Hughes
10am – 10:50am – What doctoral student educators need to know about the impact of COVID-19 on post-secondary learners. An education session presented by Amanda Cole
2:15pm – 4:15pm – Crisis ahead: Building bridges between crisis counseling training and practice. An education session presented by Dr. Jessica Tinstman Jones, Dr. Amanda DiLorenzo-Garcia, and Dr. Amber Haley.
5pm – Networking social session with all pre-conference attendees
