I'm going to be getting a 6s Arrma soon ? and just wanted some advice..
Is it best to go with one 6s battery or 2 x 3s batteries..??
Cost wise I've seen a few deals either way...
Any input or advice welcome..??

I'd always get 2X3S, as I'd use them in other cars as well.

same here mond, i only use 2 lipos either.
i find that if the 6s lipo breaks then thats the end of it but with 2 lipos, what are the chance of 2 lipos breaking? if one breaks then you still have the other.

On my Arrma Outcast I use 2x3s and single 6s packs. It's never been a problem charging or using them

I don't think necessarily one way or the other has any benefit over the other but I decided for my 6S that I just wanted a single battery.
For me I didn't want to be faffing around with two batteries. Happy with my choice.

I prefer a single 6s. I can charge my 2 x 6s at the same time (without faffing around with serial charging) and then storage charge them together as well. Saves a little time on charging 4 x 3s.

The benefit is I can't use a 6S in 4 of my other cars, but I can use 3S.

I believe the Arrma has serial XT90 connectors:
You can use one of these on one of the connectors to loopback and allow you to use a single 6S. You will need one if you are using a single pack.
Obviously its easy to make one yourself if you have a decent soldering iron
The V3 versions do use a "loopback" connector which is included with the Arrma vehicles as standard when new so no need to buy or make one separately. ?

Yes according to everything I've read the V4's do use IC5/EC5 connectors as you say.

Generally I find that 1x6s is cheaper than 2x3s. Cost is the main driving force for me.
