WHERE IS THE CAMSHAFT POSITION SENSOR IN A 95 CHEVY S-10 BLAZER 4.3L 4X4???? I BOUGHT THE PART AND CAN'T FIND WHERE TO PUT THE DANG THING. ALSO,CAN THAT CAUSE ISSUE WITH SHIFTING DOWN? MY SHIFT SILINOID WAS OUT, REPLACED IT, 4 MILES DOWN THE ROAD THE LIGHT CAME BACK ON, SHIFT ISSUES HAPPEN AT TAKE OFF FROM LIGHT OR STOP SIGN AND THROWS CODE P0340. FEELING DISCOURAGED. TRANNY CHECKED OUT FINE, FLUIDS LOOKED GREAT, NO METAL SHAVINGS, NO BURNT FLUID BUT SHIFT MODULE WAS OUT, NOW THROWING THIS STUPID CODE AGAIN ☹️ HELP!!!

Please don't write in all caps; it's hard to read and in some circles is considered rude.

Sorry
about the all caps ☹️ I had been working on another project and had caps locked. Didn't mean to seem rude, I overlooked it.
Would the camshaft sensor cause the shifting problems with the tranny? The shop thought it might since it monitors speed etc.
I am assuming this part is inside the distributor correct?
The part I bought looks like this.
Thank you,
Michelle

Where does the wiring to the camshaft go to after the clip since I'm trying to trace it back but I lost it with all the other wiring
